Are you planning a holiday abroad?
If you are travelling, we ask that you check with your travel agent or look on an appropriate website (see below) to find out what travel vaccinations you will require. If you require vaccination for Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Tetanus, Polio, Diptheria or Cholera, you may make an appointment with one of our Practice nurses.
These vaccines have to be ordered. So your appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
For vaccination information we suggest:
NaTHNaC (travelhealthpro.org.uk) or masta-travel-health.com
For those vaccinations not provided free on the NHS, patients can visit Boots (Hayle and Truro branches) or Drury’s Pharmacy in Newquay.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below
Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
The Mullion & Constantine Group Practice is now registered with the Care Quality Commission for all of the services we currently provide (with effect from 01 April 2013).
